Q: How close are you to downtown Carmel?
A: We are RIGHT in downtown Carmel - walking distance to over 100 shops, cafes and restaurants and just six blocks from the beach. To get to Monterey from Highway 1, it is a total of about a 12 minutes drive.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes! Some of our rooms are pet friendly and all of the details can be found on our Pet Policy page.
Q: Can we request a late check out or early check in?
A: We do our very best to accommodate special guest requests. Since we are a smaller property, we cannot always grant these wishes. For example, if one of our Luxury Kings is booked an the guest checks out right at 11 AM and we have a full house, we may not be able to check in the next guest until the 3 PM check in time (but we always do our best!)
Q: How many languages do you speak at the front desk?
A: We speak the universal language of kindness : )
Q: Do you offer room service?
A: Carmel has so many wonderful restaurants offering so many varities of food that 99+% of our guests prefer to go out to eat. However, there is a service in town that will deliver to your room for a nominal charge.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Typically, 72 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival. During special events and holidays, the cancellation time may be greater (e.g. 7 days or 30 days prior to your arrival date but this will be told to you before you make your reservation).
Q: Do you allow smoking?
A: We do not allow smoking in the guest rooms but you can smoke out on the patios.
Q: What is your AAA rating?
A: We are rated 3-diamonds by the Automobile Association of America.
