About the Owners

The Coachman’s Inn had always been Dr. Gordon and his wife Sandy’s favorite getaway. They loved the Inn and were excited when the opportunity came up to be the Inn’s owners 25 years ago. Over the years they have put lots of love and attention in the Inn and have done two extensive remodels to bring it to the level of excellence that it is now.

About the Innkeeper

The Innkeeper, Karen, has been the hotel’s manager for over 12 years and with the hotel for 15 + years. Sandy, the owner, met Karen while shopping for bed linens for the hotel. Although new to the hospitality field, she was a natural. Her great love is making the rooms as comfy as home by offering special amenities and with her input the owners have added many upgrades. Because of Karen, the hotel has a very high repeat guest return rate and she has developed long standing realationships with many of the visitors to the Coachmans Inn. She and her husband George live on site with their two dogs, Ashford and Tigger.

Most of our staff has been with the inn for at least 7 years and are very familiar with the area and its attractions.
