About the Owners

The Coachman’s Inn had always been Dr. Gordon and his wife Sandy’s favorite getaway. They loved the Inn and were excited when the opportunity came up to be the Inn’s owners 25 years ago.  Over the years they have put lots of love and attention in the Inn and have done two extensive remodels to bring it to the level of excellence that it is now. Gordon and Sandy reside on the Monterey Peninsula and visit the inn very often.

The Coachman's Inn is one of the finest carmel inns located right in downtown Carmel by the Sea. Located within walking distance of over one hundred art galleries, the Sunset Center, the beach, shopping and over 60 restaurants, The Coachman's Inn has all of the charm of a quaint Carmel bed and breakfast inn with all of the amenities of a Carmel hotel.
